What an incredible time it was guiding you through the thrilling Zombie Archery experience at Brocks during the entire month of October!
This Years Challenges…
This year’s Zombie range featured the return of our beloved ‘Fred the Zombie’ for his third appearance, along with the new addition of ‘Doug the Skulduggery Skeleton,’ the animated ‘Luke the MOVING Zombie Torso,’ and the eerie ‘Hanging Head Alley.’ Introducing two fresh challenges for 2023 were the Gravestone targets, dynamic ‘bopper’ targets, including the smallest Archery targets that around 30 participants bravely took on. These proved to be exciting challenges, especially for those with a competitive spirit.
The Hanging Head!
It’s always a delight for me to bring Halloween-inspired targets to life and witness how many of you can conquer the challenging scenarios I present during the Zombie games. One standout challenge this year involved shooting the Hanging Head off its hook for bonus points. Only four participants successfully achieved this feat! Kudos to the impressive 85 who managed a headshot on Luke, the moving zombie torso target. As a tradition, I set a 6-arrows-only challenge at the end of the team games, and this year, 85 of you succeeded, earning entry into the Halloween prize draw.
The Halloween Prize Draw
Out of the 85 entries, five lucky winners—Laura, Neil, Jonathon, Craig, and Tina—were randomly selected in the Halloween day prize draw. Each of them has been notified of their winnings, which include a free session of Archery or Axe Throwing and a Family of 4 ticket for Target Archery.

Looking ahead to next year, I’m already excited about introducing new elements, whether they be different targets or games. Make this an annual tradition! Your feedback on Instagram Stories guided the future, with ‘Blood-Balloons’ winning the poll for 2024. Susan won’t be making a comeback, much to everyone’s relief!
